This new SMS Lone worker protection system protocol for the reception of alarms by SMS identifies in the message the information essential for the alarm processing and sends it to the M1 or other GIS:
- Caller identification
- Definition of the type of SMS with alarm code
- Geolocation of the Lone worker protection system
1 / Who is in danger ?
The person who sends the SMS is identified with his / her telephone number. It is associated with a file number or a site in the GIS – PROM value – via a correspondence table.
2 / What is the alert ?
The first 6 alphanumeric characters of the SMS determine the alarm code of the call.
3 / Where is the person in danger ?
The PTI is geolocated and the coordinates are formatted to be processed by the C1 map. The coordinates must be written in the form of a Google map type URL, regardless of their location in the SMS. For example: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=48.708175,2.277813.
The F1 raises the alarm with the coordinates. The information is added in the report sent to M1.
