In beta testing since last summer, Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text to Speech (TtS) are now available in the F1 voice scenarios.
The ASR enables to recognize the key word pronounced by the interlocutor among the navigation choices proposed by the vocal server. The TtS enable to answer in a flexible, dynamic and interactive mode without needing to pre-register the message by a human voice.
As a result, there is no more key to press on the phone («type 1 and then #»), especially when being used by an interphony device and a greater flexibility in the answers.
- – Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) make scenarios based on voice without using the keys (“type 1” vs “said function”);
- – Text to Speech (TtS) replaces the sending of an SMS by a telephone call along with a dynamic reading of a message ( for example, reading the result of a maintenance operation for a technician).
Functions available in several languages.
